Contacted Junk Smiths through a google search. Wanted to work with a local company. Needed to remove an 8 foot couch which our local trash company would not touch on a bulk pickup (too long). A rep came the same day to give us a quote, and we scheduled pick-up 3 days later. We were notified of our 2 hour window the day before, and also that morning. The owner (Sean Smith) was one of 2 on the job. They were on time, professional, and had my couch out and away quickly. I can't vouch for whether the cost was in line with current market rates (they were my first and only call), but it was reasonable to me. What I really appreciated was their excellent communication throughout the process. Would definitely use them again.

Albert and his crew were exceptional! Scheduling on my end was only a couple of days in advance. I was new to the area and working against a time crunch and needed help to move 30 years worth of stuff from our local office. I knew they had a difficult job getting to relatively large and heavy couches out of my condo with tight corners. They arrived within the given time window. Followed instructions as to not ring the bell and preferred a call or text instead. Quickly accessed and gave me a quote for less than expecting and got them out with relative ease. I sent a request to Junk Smiths at 10:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning to ask them about removing and disposing of a spa that was no longer working. Sean called me within a few minutes and set up an appointment for his guys to come out between 11:00 and 1:00. Albert and Eric arrived a little after 12 :00 and gave us an estimate. They assured us the job would not take very long. We accepted the estimate and they got started on the job.Within 45 minutes, they had cut up the hot tub, placed it in their truck for removal and cleaned up the area where the hot tub had been sitting. The area is cleaner now than before they even started the job! Had them come for a quote on a mountain of garbage bags and some boxes to see if it was affordable versus personally going to the junkyard. When the minimum price was too much for my needs, they haggled with me to something I was comfortable with! Very professional and courteous on top of it. Great service, if you also would need multiple trips to the dump to remove your trash definitely have them give you a quote!

I was looking around for companies to handle it, but none of them were being upfront about their costs and it was making me a little wary. That's when I found Junk Smiths and I was blown away by how transparent they were with their quoting and procedures. The three fine men that came to do the Job were Robert, Taylor and Albert. The day before and day of that’s exactly what I got. From day-before-reminders and a gracious response to change the time of pick up, service was stellar. We've used Junk Smiths several times and always been happy with the service and the price. Most recently we redid our bedroom and needed to get rid of two large dressers that were not in good enough shape to donate. They arrived early (after calling first to make sure that was OK), quoted a reasonable price, removed the items quickly, and cleaned up after - even swept out the space although the accumulated dust was not their fault! Their practice of coming first to view the job before giving an estimate ensures no surprises.

I needed to have a 42” refrigerator moved and hauled away and contacted Junk Smith for a quote. I had two gentlemen show up to the house. They kept in contact before and during the day of my appointment, and let me know when they were on their way. Most importantly, they arrived right on time!Albert and Eric showed up and I can’t say enough about these two gentlemen. Right from the start they quoted me a fair price. They were courteous, respectful and very professional. They were extra careful when they disconnected the water line and moved out this huge refrigerator which was a (BEAST). My wife and I really appreciated that they were extra mindful not to cause any damage to our floors, walls or doorway and, most importantly, that they took every precaution to perform this work safely! They even managed to carry it down a small set of steps, (which wasn’t at all easy) in order to get the refrigerator into their truck, and then proceeded to come back and clean up the work area. The entire process took somewhere around a 1/2 hour or so.I could tell that Eric and Albert must have worked with one another for a while because they were an exceptional team. It wasn’t an easy job and I was very impressed as I watched them carefully maneuver this very heavy (and awkward) appliance the entire time.All in all, it was a great example of excellent customer service. I recently was helping a senior move who had a large number of items to be hauled away and I was so pleased with the service from the Junk Smiths. Sean came out and gave us a fair bid and didn't try to pressure us to make a decision on the spot. The next day Bryan and Ryan came out and hauled away all of the items in 90 degree heat going up and down three flights of stairs. It was a big and messy job and they handled it like true professionals. I can't say that there are many companies any more that have great customer service and try to do the job right but in this instance Junsk Smiths did a great job and I would refer my friends to them.

Awesome company! I called them first thing in the morning to see if they could pick up a couple of couches later that day. The guy on the phone said they could have the truck over in about an hour. Have used the services of these folks twice now, they're a very efficient crew and can take card or cash. They moved out a huge Cal King mattress, box spring, AND disassembled the frame for me within less than an hour. I'd say they charge fairly as well. They come over and can give you a free inspection and if you don't like the rate, you can just send them off. But don't! They're great. They're usually very punctual as well and the appointments have typically been same-day for me.
